A rectangle equal in area to six squares of its height. With a similar rectangle of darker poplar, a quarter of the size, sharing its middle. Inside the smaller rectangle float three squares of water oak. Each square is half the height of the rectangle that contains them. Between the squares are two implied squares with sides equal to the height of the rectangle.
