Bio

Patrick O'Sullivan was born in California in the mid 1980s. He spent much of his childhood pulling tabs off of empty Coors cans and goat-heads out of bike tires. As for foxtails in socks, he would just get new socks.
He attended the University of Alabama on undergrad scholarships where he studied art and philosophy, specializing in painting in the former, ethics in the latter, and epistemology in both. He played guitar in several bands and was involved heavily in the visual arts culture of the region.
After graduation, he worked as an Arts Technician in the UA woodshop and metalshop/foundry for over 10 years, emphasizing paint in the former, ethics in the latter, and epistemology in both. Patrick streamlined methods of making and instruction so that all students -- dozens every semester -- learned what they came there to learn and were free to work as autonomously and independently as possible, not to be confused with unsupervised. He did it all during honest business hours.
He currently works in the production shop for a local theatre and continues to reside quietly in Holt, Alabama, where he hosts art events on a monthly basis.
